My husband Dave retired November 1st, so its no more alarm clocks and trying to cram everything into a two-day weekend.  He is an avid golfer but I just never got into the swing of it.  He can hardly wait for warm weather.  Canyon Lakes Golf Course is a stone's throw away and I know where I will find him.  That's okay, he's earned it.

My passion is dogs, big surprise!  I had to stop walking a few years ago; I didn't know parts of me would wear out too soon.  So now I zip around in a cherry red power-chair.   The large dog in the photo is Beau, an Aussie mix we adopted a couple years ago.  He is smart and eager to learn, so I decided to begin training him to be my service dog & we're having a ball.  While running several errands the other day I went to Home Depot & Wallgreen's alone. As I left home I could hear Beau in the house howling his head off.  When I rolled into Home Depot the first thing I heard was, "Where's your dog?"  Ditto for Wallgreen's.  I should have listened to Beau in the first place, next time, I won't leave home without him.
