Right after school I married my wife, Kathy; by time of the reunion we will have celebrated our 40th anniversary. I served in the US Navy as a member of the Sea Bee’s or Construction Battalion. Upon discharge I returned to Fred Meyers where I worked for 12 years. We moved to Texas where I became an Associate Pastor, then moved to Missouri where I went to Baptist Bible College. Upon graduating we moved back to Oregon where I was Assistant Pastor in Salem. We moved to Hillsboro as Pastor of a small Baptist Church where I retired from the ministry. I am now working in Downtown Portland as a Project Manager. The Lord has been good to us and blessed us with 2 boys and 4 girls. My wife and I have nearly raised our six children; two are living at home and going to college. We have two children that are Teachers; two studying to be Teachers, one Accountant and one is a Nanny. We have, at this time, 7 grandchildren. We have several hobbies that include reading, traveling (seeing as much of the United States as we can), we breed and show Cocker Spaniels, I teach and reenact the American Civil War and am into model railroading.
