40 years in a nut shell....I have lived in 5 different states; Wyoming, South Dakota, California, Washington and now back in Oregon. My husband of 38 years is a Pastor and we have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. I do a lot in the church, mostly organizing different programs throughout the year, as well as children's and women's ministries.
My favorite thing to do is to travel to see new places. Up until the kids were grown, it was mostly camping in the lower 48 states. Since then we have been to Israel, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Cancun, Mexico and this year, Europe. In May we spent 3 weeks in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. For us, it was a fantastic trip of a life-time. Where ever we go it is the awesome wonder of God's creation and His people that bring us the most joy.
Even though I am on a "mission trip" every day in our small community, my dream is to one day go on a short-term foreign missions trip, maybe to Africa.
