Eugene has been my adopted hometown since leaving Clackhi.  By reunion time I will have been married to Eugene native, Elaine Jones, for 28 years.  Our daughters, Sara and Emily, are up and out of the house and leading productive lives of their own, in Charlotte, NC and Tempe, AZ.  In recent years we’ve traveled to many parts of this country and occasionally overseas to Western Europe and the Caribbean. This past year we visited the Azores Islands off Portugal, my father’s ancestral homeland, which was a unique experience, rich with natural beauty and family history.  Also in recent years, Lyn Osborne and I have jointly mis-managed a fantasy baseball team.  It’s cheap entertainment and a great way to stay connected with an old classmate and good friend.
